Phlox is a genus of herbaceous or shrubby annuals and perennials, either deciduous or evergreen. The plants are typically upright with simple or branched stems, and their leaves are usually opposite, oval to lance-shaped. The flowers are brightly colored—red, pink, purple, blue, cream, or white—and have a pleasant fragrance. Native to North America, Phlox is grown worldwide as an ornamental plant. In our shop, they are available in summer at farmer’s markets and in our Prague flower shop.
